Any parent or community member is welcome to attend these
informative and welcoming meetings

Coffee and sweets are always provided! Parents will learn about resources for supporting their school-age children and everyone will engage in conversation with speakers and guests from Lake Tahoe Unified School District, the City of South Lake Tahoe, Barton Health, Vista Rise, Lake Tahoe Community College, and many other organizations from our community.

Let your voice be heard on community projects with agencies such as the
Tahoe Regional Planning Agency and California Tahoe Conservancy

For parents of school-age children, our intent is to help connect our schools with our families and empower parents to be their child’s strongest advocate. Meetings often include a representative from the Bijou Community School Wellness Center who can lead discussions around wellness and answer questions. Cafecitos meets weekly at the Center on Wednesdays, from 8:30-9:30.
